The associations at St. Bernadette Catholic Church focus on prayer, service, and spiritual growth, emphasizing aid to the needy, devotion to Mary and Jesus, and fostering community through various forms of worship and education. They aim to deepen faith, promote Christian values, and support both personal and communal development within the church. These groups collectively enhance the spiritual life of the parish and contribute to its mission of evangelization and holistic growth.
The society is a Catholic voluntary organization, that comprises lay men and women dedicated to offering personal and collaborative help and support to all those in need, thereby fulfilling One of the principal apostolate of the church. The vocation of members rests on 2 principles: A life of prayer and the encounter with Christ in the POOR.
Block Rosary Crusade is a Catholic Lay Organization established to promote neighborhood prayer. It fosters the love of neighbors and advocates praying the Rosary. We offer all we do in the name of Mary for the greater honor and glory of God. We invite all Catholics to start or join the Block Rosary Crusade.
The object of the Legion of Mary is the glory of God through the holiness of its members developed by prayer and active cooperation, under ecclesiastical guidance, in Mary's and the Church's work of crushing the head of the serpent and advancing the reign of Christ.
The main objective ( vision) of the devotion to the precious blood of Jesus Christ is for the reign of God's glory on earth. Then, the mission of the apostolate, manifest in the first appeal of Jesus to Barnabas Nwoye (visionary) "console Me and adore My Precious blood, followed by other appeals/ calls of Jesus Crucified to us, e.g. 7 anguished appeals, call of holiness of life, call for reparations, call to Seal, etc.
The Christian home, education of children by truly Christian mothers, and the spiritual growth and sanctification of mothers for the good of the family. It plans to unite the observance of its rules and regulations of all Christian ladies, married or widowed, who are willing to assist one another to attain this noble purpose. Under the special patronage of the "Mother of Sorrows" the members are encouraged joyously and hopefully to undertake the important task of training and certifying the young Souls interested in their cares. They are taught to identify one another by word and deed, to support one another by fervent prayers and thus become the mainstay of the spiritual life within their individual families, and a fruitful source of blessings to the community in which they live. This is the principle aim of all Christianity's afflicted with the Archconfraternity.
Pillar: Religion and Discipline
The object of the Boys Brigade is the advancement of Christ's kingdom among Boys, and the promotion of habit of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self- respect and all that tends towards a true Christian Manliness.
a) to propagate the social reign of the sacred heart of Jesus by helping the faithful to:
(i) live a life of prayer and love for the sacred heart of Jesus and immaculate heart of Mary.
(ii) to achieve Christian perfection.
(b) to encourage and promote perpetual adoration and enthronement of sacred heart in homes of the members so that they may:
(i) repay his great love with gratitude
(ii) render him love for love
(iii) strive to please him by an exemplary catholic life
(iv) entrust all their care to the sacred heart of Jesus and immaculate heart of Mary both for spiritual and material needs.
(c) to give moral and financial support to:
(i) the training of seminarians
(ii) the league of Tarcisians of the sacred heart, the youth wing and the Benjamin's (i.e. infants)
+ To uphold the directives of the Catholic bishops of Nigeria on the Renewal;
+ To deepen the spiritual life of the individual through personal conversion, commitment to Jesus Christ, di prayer and reading of the scriptures, and participating deeply in the sacraments and liturgical life of the Church.
+ To lead believers, through instruction and prayers in the life in the spirit seminars, to the joyous and divine experience of the Holy Trinity as a living
+ To earnestly desire and exercise these gifts freely in the service of others and of the church under the guidance of the bishops.
+ To foster a deeper sense of oneness and love among Christians through the idea of Christian communities or prayer groups
+ To regain for the Catholic Church those who had fallen away in faith or grown lukewarm.
+ To develop in Christ’s faithful the qualities of a responsible Christian and Church leadership for the purpose of building up a dynamic and stable Church on earth under one shepherd, not through religious indifferentism but through greater mutual understanding, love and cooperation.

+ To ensure that CCR prayer groups and institutions operate under the chaplains and relevant service team in their respective locations;

+ To deepen our Catholic faith, and live in union with the church, the same goals for which the Popes and the council.

+ The Choir shall sing at all liturgical functions by leading the congregation to achieve its divine goal.
+ The Choir shall assist, promote, and stimulate participation of the whole assembly during liturgical ceremonies.
+ The Choir shall provide a forum whereby young men and women with a special interest in singing interact for their spiritual, moral, socioeconomic and cultural mutual benefits, etc.
+ The Choir shall contribute their quota for the growth and progress of the Church.
+ The Choir shall train Choristers in the art of music and church doctrines
+ To serve as animator in Lay apostolate activities
+ To obey, respect and defend the faith/teaching of the catholic doctrine.
+ To promote unity, peace and truth among members and church in general.
+ Organizing Lecture, Workshop and Seminars on issues affecting the Youth, the Church and the Society at Large.
+ To render spiritual, moral and financial help to members and the church.
+ Publishing and sponsoring Books, Magazine & programme that will promote spiritual, educational, political, social and economic awareness.
+ To engage in any venture he may enhance the status of the YCW Lagos.
+ To be a real school of social, moral and spiritual life, responding to the problems that arise the life of young workers and which prepares them for their present and future responsibilities.
+ To affiliate with International Young Christian Workers in Rome, The National Movement of Young Christian Workers, The Lagos Archdiocesan Laity Council and other Non-governmental movements, Nigeria Labour Congress and Ministry of Youth and Social development.
